Soaps and Dreams.......this is how it started.......

Soaps and Dreams was born from a passion for soaps, lots of trial and error and a desire to make all-natural, ethically responsible soaps. It all started when I completed a Soap Making Business Diploma provided through The Centre of Excellence. Who thought that a course like that even existed? I didn't! Buoyed by a 100% mark in my exams and some really amazing and encouraging feedback from family and friends, I decided to start selling my creations so that others could enjoy the moisturising effects and bubbles too.

Covid has given us all plenty of time to learn new things and pick up new hobbies. Soap was one passion that I honed and developed through the various lockdowns we've all experienced this year. Not only that; I started thinking, "if I have to wash my hands 30-50 times a day, I may as well enjoy it!" so I set about researching recipes and scents.

The picture attached is of my Tetris Soap, a melt and pour recipe. This one turned out well but impatience and mistakes led me to ditch melt and pour in favour of learning how to make cold-process soaps.
